What to expect from coaching sessions

So, I want to share with you what coaching sessions with me look like because unless you've had an experience with coaching, it might not be something that you're familiar with. 

Let's start with a free chat, I'll answer any questions you have and see if we're a good fit - book a call.


If we decide to work together, we'll do a deep dive using my four pillars of coaching:  

  • Clarity on your health goals

  • Connection as to why these goals are important to you

  • Commitment/accountability for actually reaching your goals

  • Consistency - building in the tools, strategies and the road map to get you to your goals.

Frequency of coaching sessions can either be weekly or fortnightly depending on what best suits you. I've got some clients who really like to touch base every week, even if it's just a brief chat, for others, fortnightly feels better. 


So what I usually encourage is that we start with weekly check-ins and when you feel comfortable, or that weekly is too much given other priorities, we can transition to fortnightly sessions.


Each session usually runs for about an hour. 

Prior to each session, you will complete a pre-session check-in form which has 3 - 4 questions to let me know how you’ve progressed during that week or that fortnight. 


Then we have a session and discuss:

  • how you're feeling

  • how you're progressing - in terms of nutrition, fitness or routines we may have implemented, or self-care such as meditation or affirmations

  • wins and challenges

  • next steps, and

  • any questions that you have 

After the session, there's a very brief post-coaching form that you fill out which confirms next steps we've agreed to, any actions / follow up for either of us and an opportunity to ask any questions that you didn’t think of while we were on the call. 

So essentially that's how the sessions work: we decide the frequency, which can change between weekly and fortnightly, the sessions run for about an hour each time, depending on how much time do you need, and we do a pre and post-check-in.

Throughout the entire 8 week program if you’ve got any questions or queries you can either send me a text message, an email or schedule a call. 

You will receive so much support, guidance and encouragement when we work together. The sessions are the formal part of the coaching program, but informally you'll have as much support as you need. 


So that's really how my coaching sessions are structured and how coaching with me looks.
