So winter has arrived with a vengeance here in Melbourne – and not the cool superhero type, just cold and grey.  True to form, everyone in Melbourne is wearing head-to-toe black whilst we mourn for the long, languid days of sunshine.


But it’s not all doom and gloom – days are shorter, which means nights are longer, perfect for even more binging on Netflix right!


Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!


Winter is the perfect time to create a gorgeous bedtime routine for yourself (they’re not just for kidlets) so that you can enjoy a wonderful night’s sleep, every single night!


Getting adequate sleep helps keep our immune system robust and primed to fight off cold's and flu's

Our immune system is designed to protect us from colds, flu, and other ailments, but when it is not functioning properly, it can’t to do its job to protect us.


Not getting enough sleep has also been linked to several mental and physical health problems, making us feel depressed, lonely and unmotivated.


Quite simply, too little sleep suppresses our immune system and decreases our body’s ability to defend us from colds or bacterial infections.
