I cannot stress that more. So, when you work with me, one of the first things we do is sort out your morning routine.
If you win the morning, you win the day!
I am a massive fan of front-loading the day. Getting all the things that you really want to achieve in the day done at the start. Then if the rest of the day goes to hell in a handbasket, it doesn't matter.
I want you to be able to tick off:
I have given myself a nutritious start to the morning
I have included a green juice
I have done my work out
I have done some affirmations
I have allowed myself some time to meditate
And you're probably thinking “I do not have time for all of that in my life”. Well, I’m here to show you that you do!
I'm a busy, working, single mum and it's taken me a while to finesse it, but the mornings are now my very special time, and I make sure it's all about me.
I can assure you that I'm constantly interrupted, don't think for a second that there's some perfect magical morning that I have to myself without interruptions and grumpy children and arguments and tantrums and loads of things to get done.
But, there is a way to fit into your day, and when I talk about a morning routine, I'm not saying get up at 4 a.m. and spend an hour making sure you do all these things.
I’m going to show you the most efficient way to have a really robust morning routine - on a consistent basis, so that every day you can at least end the day saying it started well, regardless of how it ends.
Win the morning, win the day.
