Today I’m sharing FOUR One Minute Wellness Tips giving you all the symptoms of an unhealthy gut.

Allergy symptoms of an unhealthy gut can include:

  • hay fever

  • asthma

  • food allergies

  • food intolerance

Illnesses that have been linked to poor gut health can include:

  • Alzheimer’s Disease

  • Parkinson’s Disease

  • Arthritis and Gout

Emotional symptoms of an unhealthy gut can include:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety Low/flat moods

  • Inconsistent moods

  • Feeling irritable

  • An overall inability to feel happy and deal with the all craziness that is life. 

Research has proven that our emotions and feelings are connected, mirrored and often controlled by our gut.

Physical symptoms of an unhealthy gut can include:

  • Dull tired looking skin

  • Hair that is dull and brittle

  • Eyes that aren’t bright and sparkly

  • Soft, flaky or brittle nails

  • Your outside is simply a reflection of your inside.

  • Feeling uncomfortable in any way after eating

The best way to improve gut health is by increasing the amount and diversity of plants we consume, including vegetables, herbs, and fruit and by reducing or eliminating the amount of processed/packaged foods in our diets.
