Homemade Mayonnaise

Hey all.

So we're back in Covid lockdown in Victoria, Australia and we have to remain in our homes for 5 days.

Which give us a good opportunity to try out some new things in the kitchen.

In my video today I'm showing you just how easy it is to make homemade mayonnaise!

Homemade mayonnaise is really quick & simple to make, really cheap & it also avoids all of the types of oils & other additives that are often found in store-bought mayonnaise.

So, it's super easy - just 5 ingredients.

  • 4 egg yolks (at room temperature)

  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

  • squeeze of lemon juice

  • 400ml olive oil

  • (salt and pepper to taste)

You can either do it in a food processor/blender or you can put it in just a long tall jar & use a hand processor or blending stick.

Place all ingredients, except the olive oil, into the blender. Then turn the blender on and drizzle in the olive oil until it gets the consistency of mayonnaise - it will take a few minutes.

This will last in the fridge for about 5 days and makes about 500 grams of mayonnaise.

Delicious! I hope you enjoy making your own mayonnaise.

Quick & easy & cheap.

Every small change WILL become a

big difference in your life.

With so much love,
